Reyna’s Tacos #2
About This Spot
Pulling up to Reyna’s Tacos #2, you’re greeted by a calm, unhurried rhythm that feels distinctly Tex-Mex and true to its Harlingen roots. The drivethru setup is practical yet personal — rather than being a faceless exchange, someone steps out to take your order, creating a small moment of human connection before your food even arrives.
While the pace here leans toward a leisurely vibe rather than rush-hour speed, you’ll find comfort in the modest outdoor seating area if you choose to stay and soak in the atmosphere. Conversations float easily between friends and families, blending with the occasional sounds of cars and distant neighborhood life.
The culinary experience here carries that familiar warmth of a local spot where recipes are shaped by tradition and casual attention rather than flash or fuss. The dishes invite you to savor each bite — whether it’s the savory heartiness of a loaded potato or the lively kick of boldly seasoned beans. It’s clear the kitchen values substance and flavor over spectacle, embracing simple, honest flavors that linger in memory more than on any menu highlight.
Reyna’s Tacos #2 doesn’t rush you in or out — it allows space for the slow unfolding of a meal and moment. It’s a place to feel quietly grounded, where the small rhythms of service and taste quietly echo the community and landscape it calls home.

●Drive-thru area. ●They come to your car to take your order. ●It does take a bit of time for your order to be ready ●There is an area for you to sit if you want to eat outside ●Beans are super spicy ●Try the bistek loaded potato ●Tacos are good but served with double tortilla. My opinion it's a waste of food...could be used for another order

They were out of a few ingredients, but the food/service/atmosphere was still good
